We’re joined day to day in the running of client campaigns by Helen Freeman, who handles outreach and content promotion. And in addition, we’re really lucky to work with some fabulous freelance designers, copywriters, developers and PR professionals. None of us have a desire to work in a fast scaling agency environment. We’re more concerned with serving a small, but wonderful selection of clients as well as we possibly can.
Founder and Lead Consultant
Stacey started her career in SEO as a trainee at a Manchester agency in 2009. Over a stint of 9 years, she progressed through several roles, ultimately becoming Search Director.
She left the role in 2018 and founded MacNaught Digital. Stacey’s desire is to remain hands on with clients and focus on SEO and content rather than scaling an agency.
In addition to designing and implementing winning SEO strategies for hundreds of businesses, Stacey has also been invited to speak at a host of amazing marketing conferences across the world. She has featured at events including BrightonSEO, Mozcon, SearchLove and LearnInbound.
Michael has over a decade of experience in marketing and export. As co-founder, his role lies largely in the running of the business side of the agency (and handling the paperwork that Stacey’s so poor at!). That’s not to say he gets away with any campaign work though!
Since graduating with a degree in Modern Languages in 2004, Michael’s career has involved dealing with business customers in France and Germany. His fluency in French and German is put to good use in keyword strategy for European clients.
Similarly, his flair for number crunching and statistics sees Michael frequently delving into large datasets and analysing statistics for research based content pieces for our clients.
Helen Freeman joined the consultancy in summer 2018. For the previous 35 years of her career, Helen had consistently been in people centric roles. This way with people natural lends itself to content promotion and relationship building.
In her first week with the company, Helen secured more links and coverage for clients than had been secured in the previous month. And she has since continued to land our clients in huge publications consistently.
Helen is also Stacey’s Mum. Yes, really.
